Why two quotes for the same machine differ
The day is not the only unit: a crane is sold by the hour with a minimum, a scissor lift by the day with a week at about four days, a generator by the day plus fuel. Distance matters more than on the mainland — an operator in Limassol quotes Paphos with two hours of travel each way. Rock changes the mini digger job: with a breaker the machine costs more and digs slower. And the season: May to October weekends for generators and cherry pickers at hotels are booked weeks ahead and cost accordingly.
How to get the exact price
- Pick the machine and say what the job is — the form asks only what changes the price: weight and reach for a crane, height and where it stands for a lift, what you dig and whether the soil goes for a digger.
- Give the address: delivery is priced from it, and the operator sees whether the street needs a permit.
- A local operator answers with the machine, the day and the price. No account, no online payment — you pay the operator after the job.
